BJP Accuses Shiv Sena (Shinde Faction) of Manipulating Palghar Voter List

At a press conference held at former city president Ashok Ambure's office on Wednesday, BJP leaders accused the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) of manipulating voter registration to benefit their group ahead of the Palghar Municipal Council elections.

Ambure and ex-corporator Akshay Sankhe, who recently joined the BJP, claimed the Shinde faction is abusing power to alter the voter list. They allege that ineligible voters are being added while legitimate voters are shifted to other wards.

“We have submitted documentary evidence and formally lodged complaints with authorities on October 28.”
