Major Tragedy Averted in Mangaluru
A major tragedy was averted near Kottara in Mangaluru city on Friday, October 31, when a city bus lost control and mounted the road divider.
According to reports, the incident occurred due to a brake pedal malfunction.
Well we all know the driving skills of private buses.. and probably the majority of us have a fair share of near death experience with private bus racing for time in between bus stands!
The incident highlights the need for the city corporation to take adequate measures to prevent buses from racing on the streets, which can be hazardous to passengers and pedestrians.
